All-on-4 vs All-on-6 in Turkey: How Your CBCT Scan Decides
Four versus six implants per arch, when surgeons recommend All-on-6, indicative price difference, and why online quotes cannot replace imaging.
OrbisMed Travel is a licensed health tourism intermediary (AK-1013), not a healthcare facility. Clinical care is delivered by contracted partner clinics. Individual results vary.
All-on-4 and All-on-6 are both full-arch implant protocols. The difference is how many fixtures support the bridge. The right option is chosen from CBCT imaging and bite analysis — not from a website quiz.
Mechanical difference
- All-on-4 — four implants angled to maximise bone use in many full-arch cases
- All-on-6 — six implants for additional support where bone quality, arch length or bite forces warrant it
More implants can mean more surgical time and cost — but forcing four implants where six are indicated can increase long-term mechanical risk.
Clinical indications in plain English
Surgeons may lean toward All-on-6 when imaging shows:
- Softer bone in key sites
- Larger arch span or heavier bite forces
- Previous failed implant sites needing wider support
- Preference for straighter posterior fixtures
Only the treating surgeon can advise after reviewing your CBCT. Online assessments without imaging are estimates at best.
Why online quotes cannot decide
A photo of your smile does not show bone density, nerve paths or sinus volume. Two patients with similar gaps may need different fixture counts.
OrbisMed provides indicative “from” prices before travel, but fixture count is confirmed in Antalya after CBCT. Read CBCT before you fly.
Indicative price difference
| Protocol | OrbisMed from (one arch) | Indicative UK private |
|---|---|---|
| All-on-4 | £3,500 | £12,000–£20,000 |
| All-on-6 | £4,000 | £15,000–£22,000 |
Both arches roughly double the arch figure. See pricing and cost guide.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is All-on-6 always better?
No. Extra implants are recommended when clinically indicated — not for every patient.
Can I insist on All-on-4 to save money?
You can ask, but the surgeon may decline if imaging shows inadequate support. Safety overrides package marketing.
Does All-on-6 need more healing time?
Healing principles are similar; surgical time and complexity may increase slightly.
Are the same brands used?
OrbisMed plans specify implant brand in writing — commonly Straumann Group systems where appropriate. Traceability guide.
