All-on-4 Guarantee and Complications: Who Is Responsible After You Fly Home?

Clinical vs coordination responsibility, guarantee policy in plain English, optional complication cover, warranty travel fine print and claim documentation.

OrbisMed Travel is a licensed health tourism intermediary (AK-1013), not a healthcare facility. Clinical care is delivered by contracted partner clinics. Individual results vary.

When patients ask “what if something goes wrong,” they need clarity on who decides clinically, who coordinates logistics, and what the guarantee actually covers. This summary matches our published guarantee policy — it does not add promises beyond that document.

Clinical responsibility: treating clinic

Surgery, prosthetic work and clinical warranty assessments are performed and issued by the contracted partner clinic that treated you. Manufacturing defects, integration failures within terms, and prosthetic structural issues are judged by that clinical team using records and imaging.

OrbisMed does not override clinical decisions.

Coordination responsibility: OrbisMed intermediary

OrbisMed Travel (AK-1013) coordinates:

  • Forwarding your photos and symptoms to the treating team
  • Explaining whether an issue may fall under warranty
  • Arranging remedial visits at the partner clinic when covered
  • Advocating for clear communication — not guaranteeing approval of every claim

Guarantee policy summary in plain English

Component Typical period Notes
All-on-4 implant fixtures 5 years from placement Manufacturing and integration failures per policy
All-on-4 prosthetic bridge 5 years from fitting Structural defects — not normal wear
Routine maintenance Not a warranty claim Hygiene, screw tightening, night guard wear

Exclusions include uncontrolled medical conditions, smoking, bruxism without night guard, trauma, third-party treatment without coordination, and patient hygiene neglect. Full detail: guarantee policy.

Optional complication cover

Where offered, optional cover is explained in your proposal before deposit — not as a fear-based upsell at the airport. Ask what events are covered, caps, and whether return flights are included or excluded.

Standard guarantee text notes flights and accommodation are not automatically covered except discretionary goodwill in some early complication cases — see policy wording.

Warranty travel fine print to ask any provider

Before booking any provider — Turkey or UK — ask:

  1. Is a second visit included for definitive teeth?
  2. Who pays flights if remedial surgery is needed?
  3. Is there a time limit to report complications?
  4. What records are required to open a claim?
  5. What happens if a UK dentist adjusts the bridge without coordination?

Document checklist for claims

Gather:

  • Implant passport and batch labels
  • Post-treatment X-rays or CBCT
  • Dated photos of the issue
  • Hygiene visit records if relevant
  • Night guard proof of use if bruxism is disputed

Contact your coordinator first — messaging before random UK treatment protects warranty eligibility.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does OrbisMed pay for UK private repairs?

Generally no — warranty remedial work is at the treating clinic in Antalya when approved. UK maintenance is usually private.

What is the first step if I feel pain at home?

Message your OrbisMed coordinator with photos. For severe swelling or breathing difficulty, seek urgent local care immediately.

Can I claim after 12 months?

Yes for covered defects within guarantee periods — but early reporting helps assessment. Policy discusses clinical stability after 12 months.

Does guarantee mean free flights forever?

No. Read travel and accommodation sections in the full policy.
